The Calamity! Project
Welcome to the Calamity! Project, an informal art jam project started by (appropriately enough) cartoonist Calamity Jon Morris.
The purpose of the project is for interested cartoonists to submit short (1-3 page) stories on a common theme.
The theme is CALAMITY!, and may include stories about chaos, cataclysm, conflict and catastrophe, disasters, death, doom and destruction, mishaps and misadventures, wrecks, ruins and fuck-ups, trials, tragedies and tribulations, bad luck, unfortunate happenstance, and downright all-encompassing kerfluffles. Funny stories about said topics will probably be the preference among the participants, but interested would-be participants shouldn't let that stop them from tackling a serious story - all genre are acceptable, in the long run, so go nuts.
