The closest we have to RULES:
1. Stories should be short, between one and three pages in length.
2. Keep the 2:3 ratio in mind when laying out your story, just in case we want to collect these in a single volume (for personal use, most likely, we can talk about other possibilities some other time) further down the road. (2:3 ratio is basically regular comic/minicomic size)
3. No restrictions on color - for now, this is all online, so go black-and-white or color as you prefer.
4. Deadline is July 15 30, 2006 - that should give you plenty of time.
5. Care to spread the word? Please do - just link folks back to this page!

And please do spread the word, I'd love to see a LOT of cartoonists contribute to this (we already have a tentative list of dozens, to start with, so that ain't bad at all)

I'll collect all stories as they're finished to this directory - so if you don't have webhosting space, no problem, it'll live on Ape-Law.

Submissions Process: Just to have a concrete process outlined...
1. Please send high resolution (300dpi+) copies of your story (or post them to an accessible FTP directory and send the address) to jon@ape-law.com.
2. Include in the email the following:
  -Your name, as you'd like it displayed.
  -Your website (and/or blog) and, if you'd like it made public, your email address.
  -Any specific copyright-related text to be included with your contribution (Default text will be "copyright (your name as submitted) 2006." Let me know if you require specific changes to this copyright information.
