I don't know what's more shocking: that hideous artwork or YOU'RE ALIVE!! ZOMG A NEW (even if brief) ARTICLE!! GLEEEEE!
Wow, Jughead looks incredible drunk. And Archie looks like he came in first in a Getting-Punched-In-The-Face Contest.
Someone should warn them about the vampire trying to impersonate Veronica, though.
Don'tcha love how the bluish shading (as seen under the chins, Jug's ear, etc) includes chameleon-eyed Ronnie's nurple? Turkey's done.
For those with a yen for nostalgia, a quick Google search came up with a transcript for one of these Archie radio shows, starting with the mouth watering Swift's hot dog ad:

Hmmm, bitter failure. Ah well, here's the jingle:
Tender beef, juicy pork,
Known from the West Coast to New York!
Swift's Premium Franks!
Swift's Premium Franks!
You just know Jughead couldn't get enough.
Ah, the Archie gang in the pre-Dan DeCarlo era, when Jug looked like he never gave a crap, and Veronica was stacked.
Also, Archie's freckles look more like zits here.
BTW, Archie in the radio show was played by Bob Hastings - who later voiced Commissioner Gordon in "Batman: The Animated Series."
